About

Owner PJ Feinstein’s love of paper developed when she began writing letters home to her family and friends during her first year of sleep-away camp. Even at the early age of 10, it was important to PJ to make sure that the stationery she used reflected the message she was trying to convey as well as her own personality.

After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Mass Communication, PJ lived in Washington, D.C. and New York City and worked as a publicist. Her move to Omaha in 2007 happened to correspond with the planning of her wedding. One of her favorite parts of the planning process was designing her Save the Dates and invitations. It was then that PJ knew she wanted to pursue her passion for paper as a career.

The Social Life of Paper was born out of PJ’s belief that an invitation, announcement or piece of social stationery should reflect the personality and style of both the sender and the occasion. According to PJ, “We may live in the age of digital communication, but it is never out of fashion to send something extraordinary through the mail.”

PJ was recently interviewed in ONE Magazine regarding wedding invitation trends. Her wedding was featured in New Jersey Brides magazine.
